How BR One helped UK medical supplier migrate ERP solutions with improved efficiency
This case study shows how we helped Williams Medical Suppliers achieve a smooth group ERP migration with improved operational efficiency.
The problems the client was facing
Our client, the largest supplier of medical disposables, pharmaceuticals and medical equipment in the UK, approached us to manage the migration of the group’s ERP system. Specifically, they needed help with:
- Aligning stakeholders and compiling timelines
- Delving into the requirements, data, project tools and processes
- Ensuring successful implementation and user adoption

How we helped
This was a group-led project, with the group acting as the implementation partner. We were responsible for change management, training, project governance and project assurance, following a hybrid approach that combines agile and waterfall methodologies.
We analysed requirements and data, optimised tools and processes, and aligned the C-suite and other stakeholders to establish clear timelines. We managed change and training to ensure smooth adoption, in addition to overseeing requirements and DevOps processes for efficient feature deployment.
We also conducted scrum meetings for steady progress and completed development with user adoption in place. Communication was facilitated through drop-in sessions, training materials and delivery. We also led multiple rounds of User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Conclusion
The client successfully enabled the group ERP to go live with minimal disruption. Thanks to effective change management and training, operational efficiency improved and the transition was smooth. BR One’s support ensured the project was de-risked by reducing key person dependencies and improving governance maturity within the organisation.
